Visit a riverscape which is one of the most beautiful and at the same time most unique nature reserves in Europe. The Spreewald and Lusatia belong to the settlement area of a small slavic people - the Sorbs or Wends. Where as people elsewhere use the car to go shopping, to drive to work every day or to transport larger objects, the boat is traditionally used within the Spreewald fo these daily tasks. Even the post woman goes around the Spreewald in the yellow post boat. Whoever stays in the Spreewald, can even experience an adventurous trip with the boat - with a bit of luck under a moonlit sky. Werben is a starting point for a visit at the region Spreewald or for a visit of the Niederlausitz region as well a for day-trips to Dresden, Berlin, Potsdam, Cottbus or Poland.
